Coach Bruce Cobleigh has been a Head football coach for more than 20 years. Most recently, he was the head coach of 5AAAAA Harrison High School in Georgia from 1992 to 2007 winning 125 games with 13 consecutive winning seasons!  In his last 10 years at Harrison High School, Coach Cobleigh’s teams went 93-25, a .788 winning percentage making Coach Cobleigh the fifth winningest coach in 5AAAAA Georgia high school football for that time period.  During those last ten years, his offenses averaged 3,515 total yards and 1,526 passing yards per season and in 8 of those seasons he won 9 games or more!  Over his last fifteen years of coaching, his teams averaged 30.1 points per game and went to the Georgia 5AAAAA playoffs for 12 consecutive seasons!

His Harrison high school teams have won numerous championships, among them four regional 5AAAAA championships and one 5AAAAA State runner-up. His offensive Wing-T-Hybrid offensive system combines a modified Wing-T run game with a West Coast Spread passing offense. 

Coach Cobleigh has been named Coach of the Year many times including the Marietta Journal’s Cobb County Coach of the Year in 1996, 2000, and 2001 and The Atlanta Constitution’s AP Coach of the Year in 2000.

Coach Cobleigh also head coached at Scotch Plain-Fanwood, New Jersey from 1988-1990.  Coach Cobleigh went from 0-9 in his first year at Scotch Plain-Fanwood HS to 8-3 his second year, then 9-2 and State Champions in only his third year of head coaching!

He has coached four NFL players:  Joe Morris – NY Giants, Jamie Morris - Washington Redskins,  Paul Oliver – San Diego Chargers, Jon Abbate – Houston Texans
